During the meeting it was declared that th private education in Ukraine has become a real part of the educational system in Ukraine.
There is approximately 200 private higher educational institutions in Ukraine at the total quantity of student in it comprises 15,4% from the whole students.
V. Polokhalo has emphasized that form the year 1991 Ukrainian highest school has proved the necessity of its existence". He also has emphasized on the positive sides of the private education.
The Chairman of the Committee still stressed that there is cases of education of low quality or even illegal functioning of the private educational institutions. Consequently there is a great necessity to adjust the system of private education in the correspondence with the norms of the effective law, as "it must work under the same legal norms as the state Universities".
During the meeting the attention was pointed out on the fact that the issue on the absence in the named institutions of the privileges regarding the taxation and pension provision for the scientific-pedagogical workers remain open.
V. Polokhalo reminded that earlier the Committee initiated the amendments to the system of laws that envisaged the financing of the scientific-pedagogic pension for the personnel of private educational institutions. Still the law as adopted in the revision according to which the educational institutions were obliged to finance the pension for scientific-pedagogic workers at their own expense. According to the Chairman of the Committee there are bills for scrutiny that may regulate the following questions.
